Who Am I?

I am a registered psychotherapist and spiritual care practitioner with recent experience at several busy Toronto area hospitals in treating paediatric, trauma and cancer patients, among others. I find great fulfillment in supporting those individuals who are looking to navigate difficult points in their relationships, those who are struggling to come to terms with a recent or anticipated bereavement / loss and those who are having difficulty getting through their day-to-day activities. We all experience losses of one type or another. It is my goal to help you discover the best way to handle your difficulties and experiences of loss.

While "spiritual" can often have a "religious" connotation, it more properly refers to all of the non-physical needs: hopes, fears, loneliness, anger, coping, etc. Spiritual health can affect physical health in many ways. It is important to address both the physical and spiritual aspects of our being.

A father of five and a husband, I know the feelings of love, hope, pain and loss. I see the need for crying and humour, each in fair measure. Having experienced hurt and rejection, loneliness and fear, I can enter into those experiences with others. This is my practice.
